2019 Stanley Cup playoffs: April 15 open thread

There are four games on the schedule for Monday, with three series tied 1-1.

The Capitals, the reigning Stanley Cup champions, are the lone team up 2-0 in their series playing Monday. Their series shifts to Raleigh, North Carolina, where they’ll visit the Hurricanes.

Across the border, the Maple Leafs will host the Bruins in Toronto. Boston rolled to a 4-1 win in Game 2 on Saturday to even the series.

The night slate will have the Predators visiting the Stars in Dallas after tying up the series and the Avalanche heading home to Denver following a thrilling 3-2 overtime win in Game 2 in Calgary.

Colorado could see a boost on the blue line from Hobey Baker winner Cale Makar, who signed with the Avs after his sophomore season at UMass ended with a 3-0 loss to Minnesota Duluth in the NCAA championship game Saturday.
