2019 Stanley Cup playoffs: April 17 open thread

There are three games on the schedule for Wednesday.

The Maple Leafs look to build off their Game 3 win and take a 3-1 series lead over the Bruins. Auston Matthews and Andreas Johnsson each had a goal and an assist in Game 3.

The Predators will try to take a 3-1 series lead against the Stars in Dallas. The Stars hope they’ll be able to turn things around, starting with their power play that went 0-for-3 in Game 3, and has gone 1-for-13 for the series.

The Avalanche are in the same situation as the Maple Leafs — at home and up 2-1 in the series. Cale Makar scored in his NHL debut for the Avalanche and Nathan MacKinnon potted two goals in Game 3. Flames goaltender Mike Smith was under fire and made 50 saves in the loss.

Wednesday’s schedule

Game 4: Predators at Stars, 7 p.m. (USA), NSH 2-1
