2020 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs: September 10 schedule, how to watch on TV

The Golden Knights and Stars will clash for Game 3 of the Western Conference Final on Thursday night at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

Vegas tied the series 1-1 with a 3-0 win in Game 2 behind Robin Lehner’s 24-save shutout, his second straight shutout and fourth of the playoffs. Paul Stastny had a goal and an assist, and William Karlsson and Tomas Nosek also scored for the Golden Knights, who now have more playoff wins than four other NHL teams in only their third season: Winnipeg/Atlanta 12 (1999), Columbus 15 (2000), Florida 19 (1993) and Minnesota 28 (2000).

The Stars haven’t scored against Vegas since defenseman John Klingberg did on their first shot of the series, 2:36 into Game 1 on Sunday. That’s no goals on 48 shots in the past 117:24 of the series. It’s a surprising turn of events after Dallas scored 28 goals in seven games, including at least three in a period four times, in the second round against the Avalanche. The Stars also scored seven in Game 7 of the first round against the Flames.

Thursday, Sept. 10

Vegas at Dallas, 7 p.m. (NBCSN, CBC, SN, TVAS)
