2020 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs: September 11 schedule, how to watch on TV

The Lightning are on the verge of a commanding 3-0 series lead but will be without a few of their key players for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Final on Friday.

Tampa Bay forward Alex Killorn has been suspended for Game 3 after boarding New York forward Brock Nelson in Game 2. Even more important than that, though, is the potential for forward Brayden Point to miss Game 3 after exiting Game 2 with an injury. Point was injured in the first period, skated a few shifts in the second then remained in the locker room for the third. Point leads all scorers with 23 points (eight goals, 15 assists) in 15 postseason games.

New York’s 2-0 deficit came after a Nikita Kucherov goal with nine seconds remaining in Game 2. The Islanders have scored just three goals through the first two games of the series, which was a problem during the regular season: New York was ranked 24th in the league with 189 goals in 68 regular season games.

Friday, Sept. 11

Tampa at New York, 7 p.m. (USA, CBC, SN, TVAS)
