2020 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs: September 8 schedule, how to watch on TV

The Golden Knights look to avoid a 2-0 deficit and even the series when they play Game 2 of the Western Conference Final against the Stars on Tuesday night at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

It wasn’t the most entertaining series opener with John Klingberg scoring the game’s only goal just 2:36 into the game. Anton Khudobin made 25 saves for Dallas, who took a 1-0 series lead. Marc-Andre Fleury made 24 saves in a surprising start over Robin Lehner. Both teams combined to go 0-for-6 on the power play, with Vegas having four opportunities and Dallas two.

Ryan Reaves will return to the Golden Knights’ lineup after the forward served a one-game suspension in Game 1 for an illegal check to the head of Canucks forward Tyler Motte in Game 7 of the second-round series. Reaves brings more physicality to Vegas’ lineup with a third-best 74 hits in the NHL during the playoffs.

Tuesday, Sept. 8

Dallas at Vegas, 7 p.m. (NBCSN, CBC, SN, TVAS)
