New site, new era of Blackhawks hockey, so we’re gonna try something new(ish) as well.
With this year’s NHL Draft being of significant importance to this next chapter of Blackhawks – there’s this pretty good kid named “Connor” available at No. 1, apparently – it seemed like a good time for those on the SCH staff to emerge from our basement-blogging dungeons and meet some of you fine folks to watch the draft together.
Plans will be formalized by the middle of the next week and this is going to be a very informal affair. Our main goal here is to get a rough idea of how many people are interested in attending, so we can call ahead to whichever establishment is chosen for a heads-up on everything. That place has not been chosen yet but we intend to nail down a place by the middle of next week. A rough guess of where it’ll be is in the city within the general vicinity of Logan Square/Bucktown/Lincoln Park/Avondale/Roscoe Village.
