The Chicago Blackhawks gave out Artemi Panarin bobbleheads for their game against the San Jose Sharks on Sunday. The bobbleheads look pretty good, and have some fun with the “Bread Man” nickname by having the winger holding a loaf of bread. Sure, why not.
But more importantly, I wanted to express some relief. Sports-related bobbleheads can be real gambles, and Panarin should be grateful that his is actually pretty good. It’s got the little goatee and everything. Sometimes, sports teams try to make bobbleheads for their superstars and it goes horribly wrong.
We should all be very happy that Panarin’s bobblehead is far less terrifying than David Ortiz’s. In fact, you could even say that bobblehead looks downright friendly. Good job, Blackhawks.
