As we noted in our podcast, you are all cordially invited to spend the night before Thanksgiving with Sam and myself (and possibly Killion, schedule permitting) to watch the Hawks take on the Sharks in the Tank, and have a beverage or 17 at the Bottom Lounge. While we don’t have any specifics yet, there are likely to be drink specials and possibly giveaways, so make sure to swing on by. Game time is at 9:30, so you’ll have plenty of time to carbo-load and get yourself a good base to allow for hours of getting yourself hammered. As we said last year, it’ll certainly beat getting drunk at the hometown bar with all the assholes you went to high school with. So come on out and meet an entirely new group of assholes, as variety is the spice of life…or something.
As you should probably know by now, the Bottom Lounge is located at 1375 W Lake St, and is easily accessible via the Green Line at the Ashland stop. We’ll be there probably a little before game time, so stop on by and make your presence known, even if you haven’t been out to one of our gatherings before. Besides, being hung over for Thanksgiving day is something your relatives probably expect out of you anyway.
