Hockey seasons across the world are winding down, so it’s a good time to once again check in on Blackhawks prospects, starting with those skating in North America outside of college.

The points continue piling up for Hayes, even after his midseason trade to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. In 26 games with this new team, he has 40 points (18 G, 22 A) and is similarly effective on the power play with seven power-play goals for the Greyhounds — the same number of goals he had in 27 games with the Flint Firebirds. Although he hasn’t been required to score to rack up points with the man advantage:
