Blackhawks announce complete TV schedule for 2017-18 preseason

The Chicago Blackhawks announced their complete television broadcast schedule for the 2017-18 preseason Thursday. All six of Chicago’s preseason games will be carried on either CSN Chicago and WGN for the third consecutive year.

The Hawks will take the ice for the first time Tuesday, Sept. 19 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus on CSN Plus. Chicago will likely see Artemi Panarin and Tyler Motte, who were both traded to the Blue Jackets in June in exchange for Brandon Saad, Anton Forsberg and a 2018 fifth-round pick, during that game.

From there, the Hawks host Detroit on Sept. 21 (WGN) and the Blue Jackets on Sept. 23 (CSN Plus).

Chicago then takes to the road Sept. 25 to TD Garden in Boston to face the Bruins (WGN) and will travel to Detroit’s new home, Little Caesars Arena, on Sept. 28 (CSN Plus). Their final preseason game will be Sept. 30 against the Bruins at the United Center on CSN.

All CSN games will be streamed live online at CSNChicago.com and the NBC Sports App. WGN Radio AM-720 will also air all six games.
