The Chicago Blackhawks will recap their 2015-16 season with a press conference Wednesday at the United Center.
Chicago’s Stanley Cup title defense ended prematurely in the first round after a 3-2 loss to the St. Louis Blues in Game 7 on Monday at Scottrade Center. The team rallied from a 3-1 series deficit to force the deciding game. It is the first time since 2012 the Hawks have failed to move past the opening round.
Chicago went 47-26-9 for 103 points to claim third place in the Central Division this season. They also set a franchise record for consecutive wins with 12.
Blackhawks senior vice president and general manager Stan Bowman, head coach Joel Quenneville and players will meet with media to discuss the season and offseason plans.
