Erik Gustafsson scored the game-winning in overtime to lift the Blackhawks to a 5-4 victory over the Panthers on Saturday night at BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida.
The win snapped an eight-game road losing streak for Chicago, whose last victory on the road was a 4-1 win against the Blue Jackets on Oct. 20 in Columbus.

The defenseman’s game-winner wasn’t the only highlight he made Saturday night. After scoring the deciding goal, he gave his stick to a young fan as he skated off the ice and headed to the locker room.
