Blackhawks NCAA Prospect Update, 2/27: Moore, Rinzel flourishing as Minnesota freshmen

It’s been a few weeks, so we can again check in on the Chicago Blackhawks prospects playing in the NCAA.

Forwards

Ryan Greene, Boston

Stats: 28 points (9 G, 19 A), 6 PIM, 38 SOG in 32 games

Greene had a slight decline in production from his basically point-per-game rate for the first time this season, scoring just two goals and adding three assists in nine games since the last update. Some of that might have been due to the his line being used more and more in defensive situations as of late, but it’s still solid production from a player who’s been solid all season. Greene is still behind only Macklin Celebrini in terms of points for the Terriers, and third among Blackhawks NCAA prospects for points-per-game (0.88), trailing only Frank Nazar and Oliver Moore.
