Blackhawks NCAA Prospect Update, 4/18: Thompson wins NCAA title with Denver

The NCAA season ended last week end, so it’s time for one final check-in on the Chicago Blackhawks prospects playing in the NCAA.

Forwards

Ryan Greene, Boston

Stats: 36 points (12 G, 24 A), 6 PIM, 76 SOG in 40 games

Greene finished tied for third on points for the Terriers, who lost to Denver in the first game of the Frozen Four to end their season. He still racked up points through the postseason, starting with the Hockey East tournament, when Greene scored twice against Maine and notched two assists against rival Boston College during Boston’s 6-2 loss in the Hockey East final. Greene also scored against RIT in Boston’s first game of the NCAA Tournament but he went without a point against Minnesota and then against Denver in the Frozen Four. Greene may not have been the top guy for BU in the postseason, but he was still a factor.
