The Chicago Blackhawks have three games left in the regular-season and are fighting for playoff positing. Each day until the end of the regular-season, we’ll breakdown their seeding chances in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Sunday’s results
Chicago held on for a win over Boston to clinch a top-three finish in the Central Division. The win pulled them within two points of second-place St. Louis, but the Blues handled Colorado to whip out what Chicago had done earlier in the day. St. Louis’ win coupled with Dallas’ loss to Anaheim moves them back within two points of the division lead. With the Colorado loss, all Minnesota needed to do was win but they failed to do so. With Minnesota’s loss, Nashville clinched the first wild-card spot, and will play the Pacific Division winner in the first round.
Monday’s scoreboard watch
St. Louis is the lone Central team in action; they host Arizona. A win for St. Louis would move them into a first-place tie with Dallas.
