The Blackhawks and Kings are through 40 minutes at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, with Chicago holding a 2-0 lead. The Blackhawks withstodd a barrage of shots form the Kings in the middle frame, with Scott Darling coming up with a lot of key saves on good scoring chances from the Kings. The Blackhawks didn’t get a shot on Jonathan Quick until nearly halfway through the period, but were able get eight on net during the period, including one goal from Niklas Hjalmarsson.
