The Blackhawks are back at home Friday night for a preseason matchup against the Rangers. Many of the big names will be on the ice for the tune-up and unlike last night, we’ll actually be able to watch this one live on television. The bad news is the continued absences of Teuvo Teravainen, Joakim Nordstrom and Kris Versteeg, but it appears those three will finally debut Sunday.
As for tonight, Corey Crawford gets the nod in goal again and he’ll be facing off against arguably the league’s best, Henrik Lundqvist. The Rangers are something of a work-in-progress after a busy offseason and the recent loss of top center Derek Stepan to injury, but it’s always interesting when New York comes to town.
So come join us for the game, we’ll be doing some live-tweeting here and there on the blog’s Twitter account, and enjoy!
