The Chicago Blackhawks will look for their second straight win when they visit the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday at Joe Louis Arena.
The Hawks are coming off their first preseason win after shutting out St. Louis, 4-0, on Saturday. Tyler Motte scored twice and Scott Darling stopped all 18 shots he faced. Artemi Panarin and Michal Kempny also scored.
Motte, who signed a three-year entry-level contract after his junior season at Michigan, and 2014 first-round pick Nick Schmaltz will not be in the lineup. Other players vying for NHL roster spots — Ryan Hartman, Vincent Hinostroza and Mark McNeill — are on the roster against Detroit.
Lars Johansson, who started Friday’s game in Pittsburgh, and Ivan Nalimov are listed as the goaltenders. Nalimov, a 2014 sixth-round pick, joined the Hawks’ training camp after posting a 3.65 goals against average and .864 save percentage in five games for Admiral Vladivostok of the KHL.

Red Wings are 2-1 in preseason
Goaltender Petr Mrazek will make his preseason debut after missing the first few games playing for Team Czech Republic in the World Cup.
Mrazek was 27-16-6 with a 2.33 GAA and .921 save percentage in 54 games last season. He started the season by going 18-9-4 before the All-Star break, but only posted a 9-7-2 mark in the second half. A familiar face in former AHL Grand Rapids goaltending coach, Jeff Salajko, who was promoted to the NHL, will look to help Mrazek find some consistency this season.
The Red Wings’ lineup will be similar to the one they rolled out for Friday’s game in Boston. Tomas Nosek will draw into the lineup after the team released 2016 draft pick Givani Smith from camp.
