Greetings and welcome to the 2014-15 NHL regular season! The Blackhawks get started Thursday night with a season opening matchup against the Stars in Dallas, giving us a chance to get an early look at one possible new contender in the Western Conference. We haven’t heard any major surprises yet concerning the lineups, so both teams should be relatively healthy (sorry, Steegs) entering the first contest of the season.
As we’ll do for every game this season, here’s the game thread that acts as a central hub for those of you following the action. Each of these will be posted about an hour before gametime, and will stick up on the front page throughout the night. It’ll also be included in the storystream for each game, too, if you’re unable to find it on one of the first few FP slots later on.
