The Blackhawks gave up a trio of goals in the first period and trail the Stars, 3-2, after 20 minutes. It wasn’t the best performance for a team that’s been shaky of late, and continues to show cracks defensively beyond the top pairing of Duncan Keith and Brent Seabrook.
