Andrew Dalbis asked for two things Friday night at the United Center: a puck and marriage.
The Blackhawks fan made a sign at the game that read “If I get a puck, I’ll propose,” but told his girlfriend, Chloe Sommer, that he didn’t have a ring with him.
Dalbis said goaltender Cam Ward first attempted to flip him a puck, but was unsuccessful. Then, forward, Brendan Perlini, sent a puck over the glass to Dalbis to pop the question, according to NHL.com.
The Schaumburg, Illinois, couple also received an autographed picture of all-star winger Patrick Kane.
Sommer already has ideas of having a Blackhawks-themed bridal shower and wedding cake topper.
And Perlini is invited to the wedding.
