The Blackhawks will end September and kick off October with a back-to-back slate of weekend preseason games against a current and former divisional rival.
On Saturday, the Blackhawks will face the Minnesota Wild before heading east face the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday night.
The first piece of news from Saturday’s morning skate involved an injury to Philipp Kurashev, although it does not appear to be anything serious:
The lineup headed north to face the Wild on Saturday night is heavy on the youths, with one noticeable omission:

As for the Wild lineup on Saturday night, it doesn’t exactly appear to be the “A” team, either:
