The consensus on the top draft pick for the 2024 NHL Draft has not changed for months, if not years: it’s unquestionably going to be Boston University forward Macklin Celebrini.

With the Blackhawks seven points ahead of last-place San Jose in the NHL standings and just five games left for each team, it’ll take a fortunate bounce for the Blackhawks to again wind up in the No. 1 spot.
