Blackhawks’ Corey Crawford welcomes birth of second son, Camden

Corey Crawford’s family has grown.

Kristy Crawford, whom is married to the Blackhawks goaltender, announced the birth of their second son, Camden Emery Crawford, Wednesday afternoon on Instagram. The Crawfords’ first son, Cooper, was born in September 2017.

This pregnancy ended in a whirlwind of emotions. So many ups and downs leading up to his delivery but I can promise you this: I will never forget a single second of this experience. It may not have been your typical labor and delivery but it was so beautiful in every way, shape, and form. Could not be happier to be holding my little bundle of joy. Welcome to this crazy world Camden Emery Crawford. You are forever loved. 🤍🤍🤍

Camden’s middle name of Emery appears to be a tribute to the late Ray Emery, who won the Stanley Cup and William Jennings Trophy — the goalies with the fewest goals allowed in a season — with Crawford and the Blackhawks in 2013.
