The Blackhawks placed winger Drake Caggiula on injured reserve Saturday retroactive to Nov. 10 with a concussion. Chicago did not announce a corresponding roster move.
Caggiula suffered his second concussion Nov. 10 against Toronto and has missed five games. The 25-year-old winger has three goals and four points in 15 games this season in a primarily bottom-six role.
Caggiula was out 13 games last season with a concussion after a hit from Anaheim forward Rickard Rakell in late February in Anaheim. Caggiula had one goal and four assists in Chicago’s final five games of the season once he returned.
