Duncan Keith, Jonathan Toews get into scuffle at Blackhawks morning skate

Duncan Keith and Jonathan Toews were separated at the Blackhawks optional morning skate Tuesday after the two were involved in a scuffle.

“Just a little friendly wrestling,” Toews said with a smile. “We’re ready to go. It’s a big game tonight (against the Panthers). I think the whole point of morning skate is to get going and we’re ready now.”

Duncan Keith was not in the Blackhawks dressing room when media entered. Chicago goaltender Robin Lehner chimed in on Twitter, writing “I love it!! Good for them. Brothers love#onegoal.”

Blackhawks head coach Jeremy Colliton made light of the situation.

“You got a brother? I do, too,” Colliton questioned Jimmy Greenfield of The Chicago Tribune. “And I’ve got two boys at home. I’ve seen that movie before.”

Joel Quenneville will return to the United Center for the first time as head coach of the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Chicago and Florida are both on five-game winning streaks.
