There’s a Place Off Ocean Avenue: Blackhawks at Panthers Preview

Credit: Rich Storry-USA TODAY Sports

It’s a Sunday afternoon in November and we all know that means: it’s the … (/touches earpiece) Chicago Blackhawks playing the Florida Panthers? What?

Yeah, that’s right: it’s a Noon puckdrop in the Chicagoland area for this Blackhawks game, which feels deeply weird for several reasons but is indeed happening.

Not much has changed for these two teams since they met a week ago, so here’s a quick rundown of all the pertinent lineup news:

As for the Panthers, they’re getting an important piece back on the lineup, which was confirmed a few minutes before this writing:

Bennett is expected to slot back on the second line between Carter Verhaeghe and Matthew Tkachuk, while the top line will be Evan Rodrigues, Aleksander Barkov and Sam Reinhart.

Chicago’s last outing was a four-point night for Connor Bedard in a 5-3 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Should be interesting to see what the sequel brings.

Let’s go Hawks.
