Before we get to the links … late Thursday afternoon, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times tweeted that amended versions of existing lawsuits have been filed against the Blackhawks containing sexual assault allegations. These amended versions contain more numerous — and more graphic — details of the allegations. Content warning: some of the links referenced in this section contain details which may be disturbing to some readers.
The Twitter thread from Pope includes multiple screenshots from the lawsuit with some distressing allegations. Pope also wrote a lengthy article from the Sun-Times that has some details, as does this article from the Tribune. Details also exist in this article from The Athletic. There’s also this Sun-Times article summarizing Stan Bowman’s first media interview since the allegations were made known in May.
