The Blackhawks allowed the first goal for the 11th straight game in their eighth consecutive loss in a 6-3 setback to the Jets on Tuesday at Bell MTS Place in Winnipeg.
Dylan Strome, Dominik Kahun and Alex DeBrincat each scored a goal to pull the Blackhawks with one goal after they trailed 4-0 less than two minutes into the second period. But Mathieu Perreault scored the game-winning goal on the power play and Brandon Tanev added an empty-netter for Winnipeg, who has won six of its last seven games.
“Same old sh*t, different day,” Blackhawks television analyst Steve Konroyd said, probably.

The eight-game losing streak matches a season-high for the Blackhawks, who went 0-6-2 from Oct. 27 to Nov. 12. But the current skid has come with each loss in regulation. Oh, and they’ve now dropped 19 of their last 22 games.
Mark Scheifele opened the scoring on the power play then Tyler Myers and Kyle Connor added two goals 1:12 apart for a 3-0 lead.
DeBrincat finally put the Blackhawks on the scoreboard with their first shot on goal with 2:23 left in the first frame, which received a cheer from the Winnipeg crowd.
Connor added his second of the night on the power play off a redirection.
Strome answered 20 seconds later with his fourth goal since being acquired from Arizona on an incredible spin-o-rama effort to make it 4-1.
Kahun buried a rebound in front of the net almost five minutes later to make it a two-goal game.
Cam Ward made 28 saves, including a highlight-reel sprawling stop to keep Connor from scoring a hat trick.
DeBrincat’s 12th goal of the season and Chicago’s third unanswered tally made it 4-3 at 6:08 in the third.
But Jan Rutta took his second penalty of the night, and Perreault converted on the man advantage for the game-winner at 11:36.
The Blackhawks return to Chicago to play the second half of a back-to-back Wednesday against the Penguins at the United Center.
