As expected, Corey Crawford will get the start versus the Red Wings tonight. Coach Q did say that Ray Emery will get a start in one of the first three games of the upcoming six game road trip. My guess is we will see Emery in net versus the Flames on Saturday.
Detroit defenseman Jonathan Ericsson will be in the lineup tonight, which means Jakub Kindl will be scratched. The speedy Darren Helm will miss tonight’s game due a setback with an earlier back injury. Patrick Eaves will go in his place.
