Morning Bag Skate: 3-31-19

Drew Doughty scored in overtime to put another dent in the Blackhawks’ playoff dreams as Chicago fell 3-2 to the Kings on Saturday in Los Angeles. The Blackhawks are off Sunday before hosting the Jets on Monday at the United Center in Chicago.

Peter Holland had a goal and an assist and Collin Delia made 26 saves to lead the Rockford IceHogs to snap their three-game skid with a 4-1 win over Grand Rapids. The IceHogs host the Wolves on Sunday afternoon.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Fire picked up their first win of the season with a 1-0 victory over the New York Red Bulls. The Chicago Bulls lost their fourth straight with a 124-101 loss to the Raptors.

The Cubs and White Sox both lost 8-6 to the Rangers and Royals, respectively. The White Sox look to avoid a sweep Sunday against the Royals in Kansas City, while the Cubs try to win a series against the Rangers.
