Morning Bag Skate: 6-8-19

The Blackhawks have reportedly discussed a trade with the Blue Jackets about defenseman Ryan Murray.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, Javier Baez hit a two-run home run to lift the Cubs past the Cardinals 3-1. The Cubs also officially announced the signing of closer Craig Kimbrel. The White Sox fell 6-4 to the Royals.

On Saturday, UFC 238 will feature two championship bouts on the main card at the United Center. Hinsdale native Ricardo Lamas will open the preliminary card against Calvin Kattar on ESPN. The Cubs and White Sox both play.
