Morning Bag Skate: Blackhawks season over

The Chicago Blackhawks fell 3-2 to the St. Louis in Game 7 of the Western Conference first round to end their title defense Monday at Scottrade Center. The last three title defenses have come to an end in a Game 7.

Thank you readers for following our coverage this season. It’s been an incredible ride and the SCH staff really does appreciate this community. We’ll have plenty of fallout coverage from the series and in the offseason. But the coverage doesn’t stop there, we’ve adopted the CBR Brave as our Australian Ice Hockey League team, and we’re talking with people in Canberra on helping us provide coverage.

There are two Hawks prospects in the system still playing – Graham Knott and Roy Radke. Knott and the Niagara IceDogs took a commanding 3-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Final of the OHL Playoffs on Radke and the Barrie Colts on Monday night.
