The Blackhawks have an agreement in place to sign KHL star Artemi Panarin to a two-year entry level contract and the team’s AHL affiliate Rockford IceHogs completed a three-game sweep of the defending Calder Cup champion Texas Stars to advance to the second-round on Wednesday night.
The Tampa Bay Lightning sent the Detroit Red Wings packing with a 2-0 shutout win in Game 7. The second-round is officially set.
