Morning Bag Skate: Blackhawks waver late in 4-3 overtime loss to Flames

The Blackhawks surrendered a third-period lead en route to a 4-3 defeat in overtime at the hands of the Flames, who snapped a six-game losing streak on Saturday night. A valiant two-assist effort by Patrick Kane wasn’t enough to hold off Calgary, as Chicago struggled to anything offensively in the third period.

The Hawks are languishing at the moment, having lost six of their last eight games and have gone 6-8 in the New Year. Coach Quenneville’s squad will get another go against Calgary in two days time at the United Center.
