Morning Bag Skate: 7-5-19

There was no news on the Blackhawks’ front Thursday.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, Robel Garcia was a double shy of the cycle in his MLB debut for the Cubs in an 11-5 win over the Pirates. Oddly enough, the White Sox lost 11-5 to the Tigers.

On Friday, both the Cubs and White Sox are off before starting the Crosstown Classic on Saturday at Guaranteed Rate Field.
