Morning Bag Skate: 8-9-19

There was no news on the Blackhawks front Thursday.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, the Bears lost their preseason opener 23-13 to the Panthers. Nicholas Castellanos hit two homers to help power the Cubs past the Reds 12-5.

On Friday, the Sky seek their third straight win when they visit the Las Vegas Aces. The Cubs continue their series against the Reds. The White Sox start a six-game homestand with a three-game series against the A’s.
