Jeremy Colliton will make his NHL head coaching debut at age 33 when the Blackhawks host the Hurricanes on Thursday at the United Center.
Derek King’s AHL coaching debut didn’t go well as the IceHogs were shut out 3-0 by the Iowa Wild on Wednesday in Rockford.
#Blackhawks prospect Philipp Kurashev had a power play goal, two assists and was 18 of 36 on faceoffs in Quebec’s 8-4 loss to Val-d’Or. He has seven goals and 26 points in 21 QMJHL games this season.
