Morning Bag Skate: 7-17-19

The Blackhawks traded Artem Anisimov to the Senators in exchange for forward Zack Smith on Tuesday.

The Blackhawks prospect camp continues Wednesday at Fifth Third Arena. There’s one on-ice session at 12:30 p.m. and it’s open to the public. It’s also Week 2 of the Chicago Pro Hockey League.

Elsewhere in Chicago sports, Kyle Schwarber hit a walk-off solo home run to power the Cubs past the Reds 4-3 in the 10th inning. The White Sox were shut out 11-0 by the Royals.

On Wednesday, the Sky host the Atlanta Dream. The Fire host the Crew, who have lost six straight matches in all competitions. The Cubs and White Sox both play.
