Morning Bag Skate: Blockbuster trades happen before free agency

A pair of blockbuster trades occurred Wednesday with the Montreal Canadiens sending PK Subban to the Nashville Predators for Shea Weber in a straight up deal. The other one was Edmonton sending 2010 No. 1 pick to the New Jersey Devils for defenseman Adam Larsson.

Oh, and Seth Jones signed a six-year deal worth $32.4 million in Columbus and Steven Stamkos is reportedly staying with Tampa Bay for an eight-year deal worth $68 million.
