Did anybody really watch that game? I tried to pay attention, but it was so hard to get interested in the Blackhawks JV squad. The important thing to come out of last night is we finally know that we will play the Minnesota Wild in the first round of the playoffs. It’s been 22 years since the Hawks won the President’s Trophy and we get to play the Minnesota hockey club again. Lets hope this year’s meeting goes better than the matchup in 1991 went. Don’t worry, it will. And if you can’t think of any reason to hate the Wild over the next few days, just remember some Wild fans booed Josh Harding while their entire team got stomped by the Edmonton Oilers. There is nothing better the Stanley Cup playoff hockey. The best time of the year starts on Tuesday night. The exact dates and times for the Hawks/Wild series has not been announced yet, but I will get them to you as soon as they are.
