Watch: Blackhawks’ Patrick Kane scores hat trick vs. Wild

Patrick Kane scored a hat trick for the Blackhawks in a 5-2 win over the Wild on Thursday at the United Center in Chicago.

It’s the seventh career NHL hat trick for Kane, who extended his point streak to six games in the victory.

Kane gave the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead at 4:02 of the first period, scoring his 18th goal of the season by stopping a feed from Erik Gustafsson with his skate then firing the puck past Devan Dubnyk.

Kane scored his second of the night at 3:53 of the second frame, slapping home a one-timer on the power play to make it 3-1 and chase Dubnyk from the game.

Kane completed the hat trick with an empty-net goal with 26.9 seconds left for his 20th goal of the season.
