With the Blackhawks bowing out of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the first round for the first time since 2012, we have a much longer offseason to fill with content and fun than normal. One of the ways we have decided to that is to do this 30 day “challenge” in which we will present a topic for you, the SCH commenters and community, to answer. Every day for 30 days we will have a new topic to discuss in the comments.

Day 3: Who is your favorite Blackhawks player of all time?
Adam: I’m pretty young, so my frame of reference on this is quite small. I never got too attached to many of the Hawks that were around when I was growing up, so my favorite Hawk is going to sound like recency bias. But for me it has to be Jonathan Toews. As the captain of this team he is just so much fun to watch, and he seems to always step up in the big moments. Plus he seems like he’d be an awesome dude to hang out with.
