Yup, it’s still going on
Are you really playing hockey on Independence Day?
Depends on how liberally you define “playing” and “hockey” more like a bunch of monkeys trying to hump a door knob. And I brought up the idea because I haven’t been able to play the last two weeks and have been itching to get out there again. So slightly selfish less patriotic reasons. Oh and I am not promising anything but there may be beverages and food.
Can I play too?
You’re invited! Even if your a Bruins or Flyers fan 🙂 Only requirement is you have to have an IQ above Gorilla Salad, so if you can tie your own
So far, we’ve played 10-11 games this season with attendance ranging from 12 to 28 players, and we plan on getting a nice little game together this weekend too! If you’ve been to a game this year, you know that they are the best hockey we’ve seen so far in our Sunday game, so come join us!
Time: 9:30 a.m.
Location: Pine park in Hoffman Estates, just North of 62
Required equipment: Inline skates, a hockey stick (gloves and shin pads are encouraged and some people wear shin pads) We have goalie equipment that you can use if you are feeling a little crazy and want to get between the pipes.
