The old saying goings that a playoff series doesn't really start until the road team wins a game. Well, we got ourselves one heck of series as we head to Boston tied at one victory apiece. The biggest news coming from this morning's practice is that Vikor Stalberg will make his return to lineup. He will take Brandon Bollig's place on the 4th line with Taters and Frogger. When asked what the Hawks need from Stalberg, Q replied; "I think we need some speed from him. I think we need energy. I think that he's a threat off the rush, in zone, defensively responsible. You know, bring energy." Q had the following to say when asked about his team's struggles in Game 3's; "Mentioned yesterday, I thought two of the three games we weren't happy with the way we played when we were up 2-0. In the case in Detroit, we thought we played the right way when it was 1-1. Whether we're comfortable at 2-0, or 1-1 having a better appetite, we got to make sure we are looking for a response the way things ended the latter part of last game. Knowing let's be ready, be excited about the challenge. Knowing you have to get something out of here, so let's go."
The Bruins are 3-0 in Game 3's this year and Boston coach Claude Julien had this to say about their Game 3 success; "I'm going to tell you the same thing that I told everybody when we asked those questions about not being able to close, this and that. Stats at this time of year don't mean a thing. No matter what we are, what they are, it's about winning this game tonight. I don't pay much attention to stats when it comes to that stuff. We've seen those things change. It just takes one game to change the stat. So I'm going to focus on what we need to do tonight."
