Trevor Daley wasn’t a member of the Chicago Blackhawks for long. Part of the return for Patrick Sharp, Daley couldn’t fit in Q’s system, and so, ended up playing just 29 games with Chicago before being traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins for Rob Scuderi.
And now, the Blackhawks are in Pittsburgh, and Daley will play against a former team of his for the first time. And he has nothing but good things to say about the team he started the season with:
Daley to reporters today: “I wasn’t there for very long, but it’s a very special team over there. … I had a really good experience.”

Trevor Daley on the #Blackhawks: “I wish I had bad things to say about that team, but I don’t. The guys are unbelievable.”

Daley on #Blackhawks: “Right from management down to the training staff, they were awesome. I really enjoyed my time there.”

But of course, now Daley faces a problem the rest of the NHL does:
Trevor Daley on how to shut down Patrick Kane: “After playing against him and then playing with him, it’s a lot easier said than done.”

Well in that case… good luck, Trevor! Sounds like you’ll need it.
