WATCH: Blackhawks’ Artemi Panarin scores his 30th goal of the season

Chicago Blackhawks forward Artemi Panarin scored his 30th goal of the season against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday at Nationwide Arena.

It was his second goal of the first period. He has tallied two goals and one assist at the second intermission to give the Hawks a 3-0 lead. His assist came on Patrick Kane’s goal.

Panarin now has 30 goals and 47 assists for 77 points on the season. And there’s still 40 minutes to be played.

Twenty-two of Panarin’s 30 goals have been assisted by Kane, according to CSN Chicago’s Christopher Kamka. Likewise, Panarin has assisted on 22 of Kane’s 45 goals.

In Panarin’s two-year, $812,500 contract, there are three categories of bonuses, per General Fanager.

  • Games played bonuses: $25,000 for five games played; $200,000 for 10 games played
  • Schedule A bonuses (maximum of $850,000): $212,500 for any of the following achievements – top six forward on Hawks in ice time (total or average, min 42GP); 20 goals, 35 assists or 60 points; top 3 forward on Hawks in +/- (min 42GP); 0.73 points per game (min 42GP); All Rookie Team; reach All-Star Game; win All-Star Game MVP
  • Schedule B bonuses (maximum of $1.725 million): $1,725,000 for any of the following achievements – top 10 forward in the league in goals/assists/points/points per game (min 42GP); top 5 in league in Hart/Selke/Richard voting; NHL First or Second team all star; Conn Smythe/
