Watch: Alexander Nylander does ‘Bottle Cap Challenge’ in Blackhawks sweater

Alexander Nylander wasted no time in putting on a Blackhawks jersey Tuesday after he was traded from the Sabres to Chicago in exchange for defenseman Henri Jokiharju.

Nylander worn a Blackhawks jersey with his last name on it and the No. 92 and did the viral bottle cap challenge by kicking off a standard bottle cap via a spinning kick.

Blackhawks prospect Adam Boqvist commented on the post with two fire emojis.

An interesting wrinkle to Nylander’s jersey number is it’s the same one is father, Michael Nylander, worn with the Blackhawks from 1999-2003. Michael Nylander was only the second player to have donned the number in franchise history after Bernie Nicholls (1995-96). No player has worn it since.
