The Chicago Cubs had a pretty exciting season in 2015. No, they weren’t on Chicago Blackhawks levels in regards to actually winning their sport’s ultimate prize, but the ride they sent fans on was a whirlwind of amazing excitement, and bodes well for the future – of which first baseman Anthony Rizzo is a big part of.
And because it’s Chicago – “the mecca of sports” – of course this calls for a merger! So on went Rizzo, who did play some hockey when he was younger, to shoot the puck.
Or, to be more specific: shoot the puck impressively wide every single time.
Thanks for having me @NHLBlackhawks. Next time I’m going to try a lefty stick! #fail #didntcomeclose #keepmydayjob https://t.co/xkROWhov4h
