Jonathan Toews is good at hockey. Who knew? He’s one of the best in the world, in fact, and soon enough, we’ll get the chance to see him back in action again. Team Canada takes to the ice in the World Cup of Hockey on Sept. 17, and the Chicago Blackhawks‘ season opener is Oct. 12. Soon!
But not soon enough. That’s still two weeks to wait, and who wants to wait that long?
Fortunately, Toews’ social media presence allows us to get peaks into his training. From claiming to be out of shape at the start of the summer to, well, this.
That’s… awesome. That’s simply awesome. I know I can work one of those boards, but definitely not while stickhandling. Obviously that’s not a problem for Toews, though!
And soon enough, we’ll get to see him doing it on ice once again!
